This Mondaine SBB Clock Pure (M990.CLOCK.17SBK) is rose-coloured and made of matt aluminium. For the enthusiasts, this wall clock does not contain a logo. Moreover, the white dial is inspired by the original Swiss station clock. Furthermore, this clock has a case diameter of 25 cm. In addition, the second hand with the characteristic red ball ticks one step further every second. Finally, the clock runs on 1AA battery. No battery is included with the Mondaine SBB Clock Pure.

The Official Swiss Railways Watch is based on the official station clock of the Swiss railways. The watch line was established 30 years ago under the Mondaine brand. The legendary design is used as a station clock by the SBB, the Swiss Federal Railways. In 1944, a Swiss engineer, designer and employee of the Swiss Federal Railways (Hans Hilfiker) created the station clock. In 1986, it made the leap from the station platform to the wrist. The Mondaine-SBB collection in turn became a respected design in its own right and today it is considered one of the "10 Classic Swiss Watch Designs".
