The Official Swiss Railways Watch is based on the official station clock of the Swiss railways. The watch line was established 30 years ago under the brand Mondaine. The legendary design is used as a station clock by the SBB, the Swiss Federal Railways. In 1944, a Swiss engineer, designer and employee of the Swiss Federal Railways (Hans Hilfiker) created the station clock. In 1986, it made the leap from the station platform to the wrist. The Mondaine-SBB collection in turn became a respected design in its own right and today it is considered one of the "10 Classic Swiss Watch Designs". Finally, it is a true design classic because of its unique dial and the world-famous red second hand with ball. Recognizable out of thousands!
