Inspired by the moment in spring when, after a long hard winter, new petals emerge from a flower bud, this pair of stainless steel candlesticks has a fresh and bright quality. The sculptural shapes make a strong impression on a dining table or windowsill and the shiny polished surface reflects the light, giving the pieces a real sense of movement.

Danish-born Helle Damkjær takes a very special approach to her designs. She carefully creates each piece in clay to get the exact shape she wants, before transferring it to the real material. This gives her work a distinctive warmth and softness of form, which partly explains the universal success of her Bloom collection for Georg Jensen.

This pair of candlesticks is expertly crafted from stainless steel and then finished to a mirror finish.
