Daniel Vior jewellery, Natural shapes and colours
The inspiration for Daniel Vior's jewellery comes from exploring the environment, where he allowed himself to be surprised by the emotions of certain shapes. His wish is to express these findings by putting them into a piece of jewellery, such as rings, earrings or necklaces, where another person shares these emotions through her body.
There are three groups of inspiration from which Daniel Vior draws his inspiration for a new product.

- Forms from the botanical world and its infinite variations as its sources and solutions to reproduce and grow.
- The meaning of words and the associations that different forms can have.
- A phenomenon can become a metaphor of an intangible perception.
Once a rough idea of a new piece of jewellery has been conceived, Daniel looks at different forms, functions and aspects of this piece, in order to refine it. Determining which stage of design he is in, he uses pen and paper or 3D models to see how a material shows different sides of itself.
In the workshop in Barcelona, each collection is made one by one by trained people. The steps that take place are: surface treatment, assembly, soldering, enamelling, polishing, etc. No mechanical systems are used, as they are not adequate for the finish and complexity of these jewels.
Spanish brand Daniel Vior, maintenance
Like any other object that is sensitive to wear, such as rings and bracelets, you can prolong its life by avoiding wearing it during activities or when there is a risk of coming into contact with chemical products. To store the jewellery, it is best to keep it in its box as this will help to avoid scratches. In addition, unnecessary exposure to the sun is not beneficial to the product. To clean the jewellery, natural soap and a soft brush can be used, after which the jewellery should be rinsed with water and dried.
